Why Visit Bohol?
Everyday, tourist foreign and locals alike flock Bohol Island in an increasing numbers. I wonder why the island scents like Bella’s blood that Edward wanted her the most. Probably, the island magnetizes the people with its unique characteristics.
Here they are:
B – is for the Blessings of Balance. Bohol is a tiny island full of blessings ranging from bigger blessings to even bigger ones. One of which is balance. Why?
The island is rich in culture and a green environment.
There are the blessings of white sandy beaches along the shoreline of Panglao which balances our extra tired corporate minds.
There are the blessings of green rice fields
which balances our eyes tired from seeing sky creping buildings everyday.
There are the blessings of loving traditions that balances tired soul from unhealthy entertainment.
O – is for Omnipotent Oeuvre. The island is a masterpiece of the All-Powerful God. The One who give the blessings of balance.
The One who shape the island with so much enthusiasm.
The One who fill the island with rich culture.
The One who fill the island with so much art from hills to mountains, rivers to seas, roads to highways, bahay kubo
to mansion houses and heaven on earth.
Why heaven on earth?
He brings heaven on earth with his wonderful island.
What does this mean?
It is experiencing heaven while on earth.
H – is for a Hallmark in History. As much as people love hearing stories, the island has plenty to offer. Many of them are centuries old like the Baclayon Church. Have you wondered how many chicken eggs where broken in building the church?
Yes. Eggs.
The egg white is used to cement coral stone churches during the Spanish Era.
